What materials do you use to make the Minute Pie Mold?
The cooking surfaces are made of heavy cast cookware aluminum. This gives them light weight, exceptional durability, and guarantees an evenness in heating which cast iron can’t match. The handles are galvanized steel with hardwood grips. Minute Pie Molds are 100% made in America.

Why should I choose your brand?
We’ve been making Minute Pie Molds the same way for nearly four decades! Discount stores sell cheap imitations, but you get what you pay for…a cheap product! Our heavy cast cookware aluminum is light, durable, and heats evenly. Cast iron molds are heavy, they rust, and they heat in an uneven fashion. Our galvanized steel handles are sturdy, and the hardwood grips are strong, beautiful, and stay cool while you’re cooking. Our Pie Molds cook most items in only a minute…hence our name! The edges of our Pie Molds are thin, yet they close tightly. Discount molds have wide edges that result in thick inedible crusts. They have to make their edges thick because they lack our strength and durability.

How do I prepare the Minute Pie Mold for its very first use?
Simply coat the inside cooking surfaces with margarine, put in a single piece of bread, and close the Pie Mold. Cook over your fire for a couple minutes and then throw away the toasted bread. This will draw out any machine oil left on the cast aluminum. Your Minute Pie Mold is now ready for it’s first use!

Where can I use my Minute Pie mold?
Campfires of course. But they can also be used over a stove or in a fireplace.

What can I cook in my Minute Pie Mold?
Just about anything you want! Simply swipe margarine on the cooking surfaces and rest a piece of bread against each side. Then place the filling, close the Pie Mold, and cut off the excess bread. Cook over flames for about a minute for most recipes. The bread will be golden brown, and the filling will be hot. Ideas include omelets for breakfast (scramble the eggs first), ham and cheese for lunch, pizza fixings at dinner, and pie fillings for desert. You can even make hotdogs and corndogs with the Weiner Mold. Our products ship with a small cookbook with additional recipes. If you have a unique idea, be sure to let us know!

How do I clean my Minute Pie Mold after using it?
If you accidentally spill filling into the Pie Mold, wash it with soapy water after it cools. Otherwise, the Minute Pie Mold is self-cleaning and requires no special care. Because our edges seal tightly, spilled filling is rare.
